Commitment
I am committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technologies, in line with the principles of equality, non-discrimination and digital inclusion.
As a private individual I am subject neither to Italian accessibility law (Law 4/2004, the Legge Stanca) nor to the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882, transposed in Italy by Legislative Decree 82/2022), but I have chosen to apply their principles voluntarily and to publish this statement following the structure required of Italian public bodies.
Scope
This statement applies to https://giacomobosio.com, in both its Italian and English versions, and to the PDF resumes available for download.
Compliance status
The website is fully compliant with WCAG 2.2 (levels A and AA) and with EN 301 549 (clause 9 for web pages and clause 10 for documents, i.e. the PDF resumes).
Third-party content
- Two footer badges (IAAP and IWA) are images loaded from the servers of Credly and IWA. They have text alternatives, but their availability does not depend on me.
- External websites I link to, such as Hedron, the YouCanBook.me booking service and social profiles, have their own level of accessibility.
Assessment method
Self-assessment carried out by me as a certified Web Accessibility Expert (UNI 11621-3):
- automated tests with axe-core on every page;
- manual tests, including with the VoiceOver and NVDA screen readers.

Technologies used
- Static HTML and CSS, no CMS; JavaScript only for non-essential features, so content remains available without it.
- Compatible with the main modern browsers that follow W3C standards.
- Responsive: works on computers, tablets and smartphones.
